LINE ScaleUp: A First Look

Three material studies from my LINE ScaleUp identity development: green glass, black ceramic and brushed silver, with a short 4K motion study.

Green glass. Black ceramic. Brushed silver.

Three close-ups from my identity and visual development work for LINE ScaleUp. I have shared them on Instagram with a short motion study; this is a closer look at the same set.

The images concentrate on small areas of the form: a curved edge, the meeting point between two parts, and a surface catching the light. Each material makes a different detail visible.

In green glass, the warm surroundings pass through the object and break into softer reflections. The black ceramic study puts the junction and its narrow highlights at the centre. Brushed silver brings the grain of the surface into view, with the curved boundary cutting against terracotta.

The accompanying 4.5-second sequence moves through the three treatments: silver, ceramic, then glass. The images and film are 3D studies from the project’s visual development.
